The National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC) and Business Opportunity Exchange (BOE) have been servicing a variety of organizations for over 40 years; and as a result, the image and opinion of minority suppliers has improved tremendously. Every year, the NMSDC and BOE facilitate a four-day event that has more than 6,000 attendees including executives, business owners, Chief Executive Officers, and supplier diversity professionals from all over the world. This year, the conference will convene in Chicago, Illinois bringing a number of corporate minority supply chain firms together to ensure that advocacy, certification, development, and connection is fostered for all their efforts.
The conference will showcase 700 booths that exhibit the products, services, and solutions of several corporations and minority business enterprises. Representatives from each company attend workshops, and engage in plenary sessions and panel discussions to go over any current industry trends, issues, best practices, and next steps that will bolster and strengthen the value that minority businesses bring to the professional world. Estimated to bring more than $30 million to the economy of Chicago, the NMSDC and BOE will end the conference with a black-tie Awards Banquet to recognize outstanding achievements done by an extensive number of business professionals in the NMSDC network.
Gourmet Services will participate among procurement executives, supplier diversity professionals, Asian, Black, Hispanic and Native American business owners, government officials and other special guests from the U.S. and abroad. The Conference offers the best of meetings, special events, minority business and supplier diversity’s most senior corporate influencers.
